FS-EN417-HEAD-KIT
EN417 Torch Head + Service Kit (Spare Seals & Screwdriver)
The same 1300°C EN417 head, with the two things that keep a cartridge torch working: replacement seals and a repair screwdriver. The seal at the cartridge joint is the part that ages first - it hardens, stops sealing and the torch starts hissing at the valve. With a spare seal and the right driver in the box, that is a two-minute fix instead of a replacement torch. Threads onto any standard EN417 butane cartridge.
Campingaz CV270 / CV300 / CV470 are examples of the EN417 cans our trade buyers stock - model names are not a brand-fit claim; we confirm the fit against the cartridge you hold. Cartridge not sealing properly? Send a photo of the valve and we confirm the right seal.

CONFIRMED PER ORDER
These are set against the metals and the joint you are working with, so they are agreed in writing before the order ships rather than guessed on this page:
- Seal sizes and quantity - we quote the exact seal set and quantity for your head rather than list unverified part numbers
- Repair screwdriver size - sized to the head and valve screws on the unit you receive, and confirmed with the quotation
Everything above this box is fixed and published. Ask in the form below and we return the figures for your order in writing.

Pairs well with
FS-EN417-HEAD
EN417 Torch Head (1300°C, Cartridge Torch)
The hot head of the EN417 range, on its own. Electronic piezo ignition fires it with one thumb, a built-in air-mix fan holds the flame steady in draughts, and the burner reaches 1300°C - hot enough for metal-tube soldering, small brazing jobs and workshop heating that defeats ordinary heads. It threads straight onto a standard EN417 butane cartridge: no cylinder, no hose, nothing pressurised in the post.
FS-EN417-HEAD-RODS
EN417 Torch Head + Test Brazing Rods (Aluminium & Copper)
The same 1300°C EN417 head, supplied with a test pack of aluminium and copper brazing rods. The point is to prove it on your own work before committing to bulk: light it, braze a scrap joint, and judge the finish yourself. Rods travel alongside the head, so one order gets you both. Screws onto a standard EN417 butane cartridge - no cylinder, no hose.
FS-BRAZING-RODS
Brazing Rods - Aluminium & Copper (Sold Separately)
The rods on their own, once you already run a cartridge torch. Low-temperature aluminium and copper rods that braze at the kind of heat a 1300C butane torch gives you - the same rods that ship in our head-and-rods pack, so if you proved the flame there, this is the top-up order. Tell us the metals you join and we confirm rod diameter, alloy and pack count in your quote.
Guides that cover this part
GUIDE
Which blowtorch for soldering copper pipe?
For 15 and 22 mm capillary joints a butane EN417 cartridge torch with a soldering nozzle is enough - flame shape beats power. When 28 mm work needs oxy-fuel.
GUIDE
How to clean a clogged torch nozzle
Ragged yellow flame? Sooting nozzle? Clean it the right way: pick the correct wire size, clear the orifice without enlarging it, and know when to replace.
GUIDE
Blowtorch safety checks before you light it
Practical blowtorch safety checks: seal testing without a flame, ventilation, clearances, eye and hand protection, cool-down, cartridge storage and disposal.
Questions
Why does the torch need seals?
The seal where the cartridge meets the head is the first part to age. It hardens, stops sealing cleanly and you start to smell or hear gas at the joint. A spare seal and the correct driver turn that into a two-minute service rather than a new torch.
How do I know which seal fits?
Seal sizes vary by head and valve. Tell us the torch you run - or send a photo of the valve - and we will confirm the right seal in your quote.
Is the screwdriver a special tool?
It is a driver sized for the head and valve screws on this torch, so the small fasteners come out without burring. Standard sizes and quantity are confirmed in your quote.
Is a cartridge included?
No. We never ship gas: the head runs on standard EN417 butane cartridges bought locally.
