TORCH TIP CLEANERS & NOZZLE CLEANING SETS
A clogged nozzle gives a ragged, yellow flame, burns more butane or acetylene than it should, and slows every job it touches. A tip cleaner set costs less than a single cartridge — and it’s the fastest fix for a blowtorch or oxy-fuel nozzle that has lost its clean blue cone. Keep one in the kit and clean as part of the job.
Clean when the flame cone is uneven but the orifice is round and undamaged. Replace when the orifice is oval, split, or cleaning no longer restores a sharp cone — a worn nozzle wastes fuel no matter how well it’s cleaned.
