OXY-ACETYLENE WELDING NOZZLES

Oxy-acetylene welding nozzles in the British numbering system run No. 1 to No. 25 — the higher the number, the larger the orifice and the heavier the duty it is sized for. They screw onto standard oxy-fuel torch heads and are sold as single numbers or as sets; sometimes searched for as gas welding nozzles, these are fusion-welding and heating nozzles, not brazing nozzles.

Match the number stamped on your old nozzle, then confirm against the size table on the product page. If the stamp is worn, measure the orifice — or send us a photo of the old nozzle and we will identify it.

Acetylene Welding Nozzle No. 16 (Heating)

High-flow single for heavy heating and pre-heat. No. 16 puts out the broad, hot flame needed to bring thick stock, castings and large fittings up to temperature — without the flame shrink you get forcing a small nozzle past its rating.
